Now where’s the nearest crowd of people?
Just kidding, this thing doesn’t have enough power to spin the wheels.

That doesn’t stop mustang owners from trying

You don’t need to do a burnout to lose control and ram a crowd. Just a Mustang.

I don’t think “your audience awaits” is applicable as a phrase if “audience” means “targets”. Even if they really aren’t expecting it.

It’s like bowling with horsepower and more fatalities.

Just find a Cars & Coffee in the Pacific Northwest, I'm sure you'll find the right combination of wet roads and fresh tarmac to do some damage! Where there's a will, there's a way.

It’s stalled right now for lack of supplies and motivation. Also the fact that my friend who said he’d do the work “for me” has made me do most of the work thus far. And I really don’t know what I want to do with the car. Autocross, yeah, but just a mediocre suspension setup and set of decent wheels/tires is 1.2 kilobucks to turn a Miata into Mattel Babby’s First Racecar (tm)

I feel like it should be expected at this point.

Hmm. It’s raining here, and I managed to drive it both to and from the tag office with minimal homicide. Did I manage to find the One True Mustang that will save us from the ravenous hunger of its brethren? Only time and my rising insurance rates will tell.

My favorite game with convertibles:
How many can you land inside with the top down?

you just need to get the car drivable again, itll provide the rest of the motivation.
just turn it into a series of smaller achievable jobs until you get it done.
being out there turning laps is WHERE it is at, regardless of sub-mediocrity or tires.
keep the car fun, dont turn it into more work than it needs to be.
forgot to say, congrats on the mustang.

Considering I have a comfy automatic daily driver and a small japanese sports car I really have no need for an automatic expensive American muscle car that handles like a dumpster fire. I’m going to autocross it once but it’s going away as soon as possible.

The $250 a month the Mustang is costing me is money far better spent on Miata go-fast parts.

If I can spin up the tyres on my 60hp Twingo I'm sure those will light up if you try hard enough.

Maybe if I neutral drop, but a brake stand won’t do it, nor will mashing the go pedal. Automatics are lame.

Yeah I suppose the Twingo wouldn’t have a chance with an auto. The times I got a small spin out of them I was rather aggressive with the clutch.

That car should be able to spin em without any issues.
Perhaps the torque management settings in the stock ECU try to reign it in...

Heh, reins. Pony car. But it’s a 200hp car with an open diff and decent tires on the rear and a torque converted auto. On dry ground there’s no chance without doing a neutral drop.
